Utopia Homegrown, the event showcasing only the BEST in Australia's local talent, in all areas of the harder spectrum of dance music, is back in it's third installment! This time it's no-holds-barred as we have secured, for the first time in history, an all night 16 dance event at the infamous Hordern Pavilion - the landmark venue which hosted the birth of the Australian Dance Party scene back in the early 80's, and is now set to host Australia's longest running Dance Party....Utopia!
As we feel this is quite the momentous occasion - we are flying in three special International guests in addition to our already massive Homegrown lineup! After not being able to attend the last Utopia due to the Icelandic Volcano, we have now made sure that they will rock it out at Utopia - Homegrown3! The legendary Darren Styles, Mark Breeze, and MC Whizzkid will prove why they are the undisputed kings of the UK Hardcore scene. You have heard the countless anthems over the years from this trio who have truly defined rave music for our party generation, but nothing comes close to witnessing the unbridled energy of their live performances amongst a kaleidoscope of party technology, lasers and lighting spectacles - and let's not forget the spine tingling turbo sound system that will have your body oozing with bass!

Just wait 'til you see what BLM have planned for the Hordern. With a design by Brian Walsh putting 16.9 million colours at their fingertips, Lighting and Laser Legends Ian Jackson and Geoff Rose will lead you on an optical adventure you'll never forget. Add to this, mind-blowing visuals from Eyebyte on giant screens and you have the recipe for an Eyegasm! We believe the Hordern Pavilion is the perfect venue for 3D sound. So, for the first time ever, YOU can experience thunderous Dolby 3D Turbosound at Utopia - Homegrown3. By driving giant old skool Turbosound speaker boxes with the latest cutting edge digital processing and amplification, we will create a totally encompassing aural experience with sound on the dance floor from all directions instead of just up front. This is why Utopia has long had a reputation worldwide as the "Technology Party". Our designs have been featured in magazines and technical journals all over the world. Come experience it!

HORERN PAVILION, HALLS OF INDUSTRIES and SURROUNDS
The Hordern Pavilion has long been one of Sydney's favourite entertainment venues. Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, MGMT, Nirvana and Mardi Gras... it has all happened here! Now for the first time in its 85-year history Hordern Pavilion is opening its doors to its very first 16 all night dance event. Powerhouse Productions first made inquires to use this venue in 1999 and up until now has been off limits. Make sure you've got your ticket for this historical event.
DRESS THE PART - CANDY
Special prizes will be awarded to the best dressed on the night! Best dressed tickets for best dressed will be issued at the door on arrival, so arrive in style people. Winners of these door prizes will have a chance to show off their outfits on main stage and the person with the best outfit will receive a free annual pass to all Powerhouse events plus get a chance to dance on the main stage for most of the night and hang in the VIP area and meet and greet all the international and local DJS.
