Jason Clarke suggests that the truly successful businesses are the ones who recognise that when organisations are flexible, ideas and results are improved, and their employees excel. Leaders of these organisations don’t tell their employees how to do their job; instead they explain where they want to go, why they want to get there, and let their employees make it happen.
This requires having the courage to take risks, real risks. It’s about creating change and if you are prepared to take those risks to make that happen, whether they pay off or not.
Jason comments; “People want to buy from, contribute to, work for, and invest in innovative companies. When businesses hire people they are simply renting bodies, but if they encourage people to innovate, they’ll get their brains for free.”
