So we are having the early programming meetings for the 2012 SPOKE Festival - follow up to last years amazing event and it is sounding very good indeed. We have the opportunity to use the Shimmering West venue which is going to be challenging but quite a lot of fun - challenging because it is a new venue and as yet untried in terms of that generating goodwill type "let's just go to blah and hang out" energy from punters... but it's in a great position just outside of AC Arts at 3 Light Square, and I believe there will be a few must see shows on during Fringe 2012 at AC Arts, so we are bound to pick up a little walk-through energy from audiences going there - and also to the Higher Ground venue where Guy Masterson's International Theatre seems to have an on-going Fringe Festival booking. So all in all as challenging as it is likely to be, it is also a challenge we're likely to meet one way or another - after all - our program is going to be massive with some really great fun events amidst all the slightly more serious ones.
